Help in building a Carolina Skiff?

When buiding one should i use a solid wood frame? or any other advice|||After considering several answers, I think it best if you find plans for a boat like you want to build, then follow them exactly. I would guess that this is the first such boat that you want to build. Screwing plywood together to form a boat isn't exactly what you would want to do. Shaping other hard woods is also difficult. In short you need a lot more skill than what it might appear. That goes for tools also. I think I would advise against this project unless you have skilled help.
