How shallow of water can the 19' v series carolina skiff go in?

I am looking to by a 2005 v series carolina skiff 19'. How shallow of water can it go in?|||The V series from Carolina Skiffs is a semi-V hull designed around a flat-bottomed skiff.

Depending on the outboard motor you decide to purchase you could run in a foot-foot 1/2 of water.

Carolina Skiffs are excellent inshore fishing boats.|||Is that a sail boat or a power boat? I don't mean to be a smart a** but when you start hitting bottom you will know you are too shallow. When it comes to power boats, you will need more depth taking off than when you are planed out.|||Your question is a little vague. Are you talking about drafting/floating/drifting or on plane? On plane I would be willing to say easily 1 foot of water drafting/floating/drifting will depend on the amount of weight placed on the boat.

You really need to know how shallow you can go for a hole shot which is taking off. My in-laws 19' Blue-Wave Super T can draft 6 inches of water but requires 14 inches for a hole shot.

The prop on the motor will also effect the hole shot. I have found out a 4 blade prop is better for a quick and shallow hole shot while a 3 blade prop is better for top end speed. You will need to decide what you really want out of your boat.
