I want to buy a new boat. What do the reviews on the Carolina Skiff say? Is it a good buy?

I can't tell if the price includes a motor or not. How does it fair in high winds? What difference does the height of the gunwales make? What kind of trailer does it require?|||My Dad owns a boat shop and his main supplier for boats is carolina skiff I own 2 myself and love them both one is a 24 dlx and the other is a 16 J series I don't know witch price sheet you are looking at so I couldn't say but as for high winds they do effect the way the skiff handles the gunwale is like a big sail and it will push you but in most cases you can steer out of it the 24 is really bad for that but the 17 and down is not that bad the height of the gunwale is more of a safety feature and it can make it difficult to board the boat if it is not setup right and if you use your boat for fishing it is a long reach to land a fish and the trailer should be designed for a flat bottom boat if you want a dlx and for the semi-v get one made specifically for your boat I own an 18 ft bumble bee bass boat and a 21 foot norris craft and i use my skiffs more than i do them so that tells you how much i like them they aren't an attractive boat but they are very tough and dependable i hope you get one and are satisfied|||you like to buy a boat? try to visit this website www.bagacayboatworks.com
