Im debating on Dell Ultra Sharp 27" LCD monitor or an LCD TV.?

Samsung has a 27" TV 8ms grey to grey with a built in digital tuner. Where as the Dell (and all computer monitors) is only a monitor. I would need to by a TV tuner card if i wanted to watch TV (which i really do not intend too). My only question is why would i not buy the LCD TV? what is the difference between LCD Monitor and LCD TV? I dont see much and since im a gamer and need clean clear crisp images, i worry abit with the LCDTV since it is not marketed directly for the computing world. Any input would help.Im debating on Dell Ultra Sharp 27" LCD monitor or an LCD TV.?
Two differences.

1. LCD TV has built-in TV Tuner. Consequently, LCD TV has a port for TV signal (antenna/cable).

2. Typically LCD TV has bigger pixel pitch (more than 0.3mm) than LCD Monitor. But, some small size LCD TV has a pixel pitch less than 0.3mm.

LCD monitor is not recommended as LCD TV, since you always have to turn your computer on to watch TV.

For serious gamer, I personally recommend BenQ FP241W.

Typically LCD TV has bigger pixel pitch, you can't have both world, say, game and TV.Im debating on Dell Ultra Sharp 27" LCD monitor or an LCD TV.?
perhaps you should get the LCD monitor if the LCD TV's costing too much. You can just get the tuner card, which probably doesn't cost too much compared to the LCD TV.
