1. Why does everybody (and their mothers) insist on speeding? 40mph is the speed limit, not speed minimum. People here regularly drive 60-70mph on city streets. Can they all be Meth-heads?
2. Is Smoking considered a recreational sport here? And why do these red-necks insist on throwing their cigarette butts on the ground when they are standing a foot away from a public ash-tray?
3. Why do the girls here insist on wearing clownish amounts of make-up (… looking like a bunch of Bozos)? Who do they look to for make-up inspiration? Elvira? Raggidy-Ann? And the Latinas here, are they really under the impression that Raza in the rest of the country are still drawing on pencil-line thin arches for eyebrows (which always give the impression of looking surprised)?
4. If a person is renting an apartment here, and they are having to pay trash/water… How do they figure out how much a person is throwing away?… How do they figure out how much to charge them.? Is it a flat rate?
5. Why are people so up-tight and unfriendly here? People here walk around like a bunch of sour-pusses, who were just fed a spoon of cat-crap… passing each other on the streets daily, without so much as a “Hello”. And if you’re the one to go out on a limb and initiate a “Hello” (were talking joe-schmoe here… not a mo-hawked tattooed freaky-loo), people look at you like you’re an asshole… that is if they are not looking through you in silence.
6. Where is the good Mexican food? And, please… Don’t tell me Sadies’ (over-priced and it sucks… Gave me Chorro), or El Pinto (just as bad). And, what is the obsession with carne-adobada (pork)? With so many Mexicans here, you would think that a person could find good Mexican food. Wrong. The best Mexican food I’ve eaten here thus far came from an Salvadorian place, and a Guatemalan place (both on the west-side of the river… one in the south, one in the NE). Ridiculous.
7. What is with all of the kids driving the cars with the ugly spoilers? Are they still under the impression that the FAST and FURIOUS car look is still IN?
8. What is with all of these churchy White women here adopting all of these kids from China? Is it a social status thing? Like “Look at me, I’m such a good person… I’m adopting Chinese babies… God loves me?” Do they not understand they are contributing to Chinas one-child laws (by creating and contributing to a market for these kids)? In addition, why are they not adopting perfectly healthy kids from Albuquerque? There are good kids here who need a loving home.
9. Where aren’t there 24-hour fitness centers located here?
10. Why are there so many people with brown/grey teeth here? Is it the nasty ammonia /bleach smelling tap water doing it? Or all of the smoking?
12. Why isn't there a 3 strikes policy here? If you commit three felonies, your in jail for 25 to life.
13. What's with all of the home-invasions.. Car-break-ins?Questions about Albuquerque?

Sorry, I never saw any of that or had any of those problems when I was there.
But ya know there's a bit of that everywhere in the world....sigh..It's sad.
