I need to decide on a laptop to buy, but can't decide whether to plump for a AMD dual core, i3 or Amd quad cor?

I am in the market for a new laptop, i've narrowed it down to the items below but I can't decide which to purchase. I use my laptop for occasional work, word processing etc, web browsing, downloading various media, and SOMETIMES for viewing dvd.

Can anyone suggest which will be most useful and bets value for money?

Is there a noticeable difference between an AMD processor with each core running at 1.6/1.8GHz and an intel processor with each core running at 2.1GHz

Thanks in advance.

out of those laptops the samsung is the best laptop on show.. according to the bench marks it has the best CPU as well and with dedicated Nvidia graphics I would go for that..

The cpu is the most quickests out of the mid high range CPU as-well

All of them save the last HP will do what you want to do. I'd recommend the Samsung as it is the fastest, and has (imo) the best brand.I need to decide on a laptop to buy, but can't decide whether to plump for a AMD dual core, i3 or Amd quad cor?
