I know that bespoke furniture comes in solid wood, dove tailed drawers and other quality points with its finish, but can anyone recommend a budget make that can provide more or less the same look (eg so that if I open a drawer I do not see grey plastic sides but rather a more quality finish)? I don't mind paying for timber if it is in solid wood but there seems to be an enormous gap in the market between bespoke and off the main line and we have a fairly straight forward kitchen layout, so seems a shame paying so much extra. if you want cheap but reasonable kitchens in uk you want ikea, homebase, mfi to name three. look around and find the one you like best
